Getting a place to park close by does cost. If you get there early before 10am it's $10 Free parking is further out.
If you are able bodied, you can park in town and walk over.
You will have to pay to park somewhere nearby and then walk to the tower. Fees are $10-20 and include private and public parking areas. Much more difficult to find parking on the weekends in the summer.
