For under 18 driving school course, do you get your certificate and just go take a picture and get the license or do you still need to take then during test at DPS?

Once you passes test, you will get a certificate. There is a list of items you need for the learner's permit to take with you to DPS. The school will give it to you and you can check the DPS website for detailed information. This what did for my son.
