Customer service is not their priority.
UPS loses money on the operation of their customer counters. So they only open them when they have clerks already there for other duties. I do agree, they should open them all day as a courtesy to their customers. I was a driver there for 36 years ,never understood this business philosophy.
Should be open all day
3 to 630 is same as pickups for the main trucks leaving from there to other sites
UPS Service in Tyler Texas is HORRIBLE!! UPS Driver dropped labels on our front porch for 3 boxes we were returning. Did not ring door bell - nothing. He/she is required to make 3 attempts to pick up - the three attempts were recorded within 10 minutes of each other - while we didn’t even know he had been in our neighborhood or left the labels. Calling local office on the phone is fruitless!! We finally loaded the three LARGE boxes in our TWO cars and took them to the local service center. Well guess what, they only accept packages from 4 to 5:30 in the afternoons. Another trip across town. I hope I NEVER have to do business with this local UPS ever again!!
