Can any other people vouch for the reviews about seeing bugs and needing to renovate some of the cabinets and stuff or would you consider this be a nice place to stay? I don't mind the train sounds.

NO bugs! This is a super clean place. I actually was toward the rear of the building in unit 507 and I found the sound of the cars and the trains to be actually comforting. Kind of fun to watch the lights at night.

We ended up staying in September of 2021 and LOVED it.

Negative. My experience was wonderful. No bugs, no issues. Just a fantastic experience.

Our apartment faced Race St and the garden space to the left of the building. Never saw bugs, never heard trains. My family and I really enjoyed the space. Sonder reps assisted promptly with all of our requests...ironing board, iron, crib and extra trash bags. We stayed there for 4 nights and checked out just a few days ago.

This was a charming place to stay. We didn't have any bugs in our apartment, nor did we see any in the lobby or throughout the building during our stay. Our apartment had been completely renovated; with granite countertops. The cabinets were just as lovely and had plenty of space. I loved that there was a full-size refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer & dryer! The area was nice and quiet, with lovely neighbors. The train was only noisy during passing when sitting on the balcony. It didn't disturb us one bit; our newborn slept right through the sound of the train too. That should give you an idea of how peaceful it is. Do stop at the store if you're planning on staying for a while and pick up some trash bags and laundry tabs. They provide very few trash bags/laundry tabs in the apartment, and they do not bring fresh towels/linens during your stay; they expect you to wash these yourself. (Which we understand given our length of stay and COVID-19 precaution measures)
