They will refund you immediately for any game that doesn't work correctly and generally try and fix an problems right then. These are machines with hundreds of parts sometimes decades old. Be thankful for the places like this that provide us the opportunity to play these classic machines.
The team at Star Worlds Arcade has always been nothing but professional. I am sorry you feel that the pinballs are not up to your standards, but as Brent said bring it up to the owners and I am sure they will address it as soon as they are able. As far as pricing pinballs take up a large amount of real estate and as I'm sure you see space is at a premium there. Their prices are competitive and actually less than some larger arcades charge for the same games. I hope that you would give them the chance to address you concerns and come back to enjoy the arcade. I have always found the community of players to be unique experience that is hard to find these days especially at the larger more commercialized arcades.
I think the pins are pretty well maintained. Did you tell and show them the issue while you were at the arcade?
Dude, it's a tiny regional arcade. The guy provides a place that is lovely to stop in and play some games. No, it's not going to be the same as a giant regional arcade. Star Worlds charges a reasonable price for a pretty good time.
