Talks about all the Tenants and applicants in a very bad way also very passive aggressive to the POC when they come in but very patient and sweet to the white older people

Kellie M. Hounshell 2365 N. 4088th. Rd. Sheridan IL 60551..Can an application be sent to this address..she has no car! Living with her parents at this address & mom (Cheryl), no car either!! Thank You
From what I understand, a person is put on a list and the go by urgency. But I can say, it took over 4 months and my sister's therapist going into the office to explain better of my sisters urgency, to even get an appointment for an interview for placement. So it can be some time before a person can get into housing. Also being 2 yrs, I would go in and re apply. But please remember COVID shut everything down and if there is not an extreme urgency, then it can take time. They did post on their website there for some time they were not doing anything with housing placement.
HACD needs to process your paperwork following HUD guidelines. We will verify your preferences at time of selection, income assets and any allowances. All required checks will be completed; previous subsidized housing, background check and a soft credit check. HACD is working with multiple applicants so the process can take up to six (6) weeks. Once completed you will receive notice via First Class mail and email. Should we need any additional information from you an email will be sent.
The waiting list is composed by the total number preferences then date and time of pre-application. The most preferences an applicant can have is six (6) with the minimum for submission being two (2). Applicants can be on the waiting list for a few weeks to several years dependent upon the total number of preferences. Applicants are encouraged to update their pre-applications via email to keep their information up to date. For more information please visit HACD's webpage, www.dekcohousing.com. Thank you!
If you are able to go into the office I'm sure they could help her.
