My mom was nervous about moving out of her house, it took a little convincing, but we are so glad we did. The staff and residents were so welcoming! After we got her settled in she's even got her spark back. I can't say enough of how grateful we are to have her in a place that feels like home.

There was a ZERO "buy-in" fee as of early last year. I suspect that may still be true now. Also, last year there was no damage deposit or last month's rent to pay before moving in that I remember now, however I have slept since then and could be wrong. Also, unlike a "fancier" looking place in a nearby city, you do NOT have to fork over 3K in dead presidents ("green" or bank check, etc.; eventually refundable, thank heavens) just to apply for their Waiting List. Still, it is not cheap, of course.
