Hi Makayla! Sorry, we don't use a hoop for initial piercing because it doesn't facilitate the easiest healing process. The jewelry we use is a custom bent titanium nosepin that allows for swelling and simple cleaning. It's also nearly flush against the skin, making it more difficult to move sideways while sleeping or catch on things during healing, which can interfere with the process as well. You can change the jewelry yourself in 6-8 weeks or have us change it for you. We recommend changing to gold or sticking with titanium to avoid metal sensitivities.

Personally I want to say no because when i researched getting nose pierced it said the stud is easier for cleaning and staying in place.. but I am sure that if you want a loop you can change it out after a couple of weeks... as per me googling your question..."a stud that it's kind of a pig's tail in shape in order to heal, but once it's healed, you can ask to get it changed for a ring. The septum on the other hand, it can be either a ring or a horseshoe barbell.:
