FFrankst3rr I go to Foo Kam quite often, usually the only Chinese food I will eat is in Chinatown! I have to say, it is very good & I have never had a bad experience in the (probably close to) 15 years that they've been there. I've tried lots of different dishes & have not been disappointed yet ;) I can typically judge a Chinese place by the freshness of their Pork fried rice - at Foo Kam, it is ALWAYS fresh. Never dried out & the pork in it is nice big pieces, not the tiny morsels you find at most places. If I were you, I would definitely try them. Let me know what you think please! Well, I have been there thrice; two of the times I had the boneless rib combo, and the last time I had the chicken lo mein combo. Each of the times I had a different "side." An egg roll, wonton soup, then a soda. I can say that the boneless ribs were quite good; mostly big pieces of meat with hardly any disgusting fat (where you would usually see at most Chinese places.) The lo mein was good; the noodles were not mushy, the assortment of vegetables in it were a good mix, the overall flavor was not too salty--the only thing that I didn't care for was the "chicken" in it. I used quotations around "chicken" because the meat was an odd consistency; when I bit into it, the last thing I would expect was the texture that I experienced--It was almost rubbery, with an odd "feel" to it as I chewed. It did not seem to have any grain to the meat like most proteins do. To be fair, about 4 different Chinese restaurants I have been to have had this "chicken" problem. Overall: Pretty good
