So I'm a recent newbie to Carmel, and so I have to say after my 2nd order from Foo Kan, I've struck gold! Everything i have ordered from here has been spot on and delicious. I have a weakness for chicken and broccoli. Its a simple dish but you would be surprised with how many chefs can mess it up, but Foo Kan's is definitely within my top 5 list. I'm definitely ordering from here again.

A gem in a small town! We ordered a few lunch specials after a tiresome hiking nearby, it was delicious! We had Thai curry shrimp, sesame chicken and kung po chicken, all tasty. If you're looking for a local Chinese takeout place, you don't want to miss this one. (Fair price too)

Best Chinese in the area, the food is consistently good, never greasy, and the owners are always friendly. For an additional charge you can request white meat only, brown rice, and they have a very tasty diet menu (their garlic sauce is excellent!)

FFrankst3rr I go to Foo Kam quite often, usually the only Chinese food I will eat is in Chinatown! I have to say, it is very good & I have never had a bad experience in the (probably close to) 15 years that they've been there. I've tried lots of different dishes & have not been disappointed yet ;) I can typically judge a Chinese place by the freshness of their Pork fried rice - at Foo Kam, it is ALWAYS fresh. Never dried out & the pork in it is nice big pieces, not the tiny morsels you find at most places. If I were you, I would definitely try them. Let me know what you think please! I think you'll like it! & like Howard said, there is always a good variety of fresh, crunchy vegetables in their dishes. Enjoy!!
