Church is a place to worship w/brothers & sisters in Christ Jesus. My purpose is to go, as I am trying to be in right standing w/GOD. My flesh loves sweets, which is a weakness. Sweets is not a sin, but over-indulgence is. This lifestyle will kill me, as it brings about diseases. To me, eating sweets feels so right, even though it would bring about diseases being out of control. So, I now have choices. Accept I will get diseases, such as diabetes, weight gain, which will raise my blood pressure and etc. Or I can listen to GOD and eat sweets in moderation. The sin is not eating, but overeating. Therefore, my point is... sin is not being gay, but the action of that lifestyle. The lifestyle may feel good & seem right, but it can bring about diseases. Jesus said His disciples are those who obey him. To be in rightstanding w/GOD is to obey Him. The lifestyle is incorrect, according to GOD. This wretched person, that I am, would love to worship & grow in righteousness w/u. Sandra Russell
Ok well im looking for a place that thinks I am going to heaving to regardless of whom i love i have had Christian's tell me to divorce my wife and stop my life style or I won't go to heaven
Seems like somebody wants to justify their sin, rather than feel the need to repent and put to death the lust of the flesh. Glad I'm not associated with this church.
Everyone has to repent and follow the bible no exceptions
Thank you Kamiron. I’m a gay Christian and was going to try this church out tomorrow. I’m glad I saw how the people of this church feel about gay people before actually going.
Your lifestyle has to change to reflect Christ.
Please do not let one persons options sway you! This is a huge church and this person has no right to judge anyone!!!! Please check out this church they are friendly and I have never had anyone say anything to me about my ways of life! This church is so big that there is bound to be hypocrites and judge mental people. That is every where you go these days! You all please try it for yourself and do not let one person detour you from God!
You need to call the church to ask this type of question. If you post here, random people can answer. You need to ask a pastor or another spokesperson from the church to ask about their beliefs / practices.
Everyone is expected to repent and obey the Lord's commandments.
They have changed in the last 10 years then, because I remember a gay couple asking how the church felt about “gay relationships” and they were told in class that the church DID NOT support because of the bible.
They most definitely are not
