You call and leave a voicemail. The patient doesn't usually get it, in my experience. They can call you, though.
We encourage ongoing communication with loved ones and significant others. We have designated times on the daily schedule for phone calls. Exceptions to the phone schedule can be made for urgent situations. If you are calling to speak to a patient, please make sure you have his/her patient identification number. Without that number, we are unable to confirm/deny whether a particular person is one of our treatment programs.
