Yes, there is lots of free parking at liberty State park. If you are planning to go to the Statue of liberty and ellis Island the parking closest to where you get the Boats may fill up. There is a lot of low cost parking near the boat embarcation point also. If you are there to picnic, jog, fly kites, enjoy the New York skyline view, and play there is lots of free parking on the southern end of the park. Enjoy!
