Yes. They have a gate check. Empty pockets. They will check bags and anything you bring. I would pull up website and check size and limits to what's allowed. Save a walk back to the car. Overall with lawn picnic style seating its generally ok. Enjoy. Great park. Fun place.

Yes you can bring a clear bag but I think it has to be a certain size as well as the blanket.
