I visited this range a couple of years ago and found it clean and well maintained, however I found the range masters to be some of the most arrogant, rude, egotistical verbally abusive jack wagons in the business. The way they were addressing issues and talked with people I personally found out of line! I have military an LE background and training and seen how to correct or address issues at the range by teaching and mentoring, not being verbally abusive and rude! Folks come to the range to enjoy this sport and want to learn from each other and be mentored by professionals not jerks! This only drives good people from this wonderful sport.

This range is an absolute kindergarten. Don’t expect to go here and work on anything remotely advanced. Range staff will lose their mind if you come with a duty belt, with a weapons system in it. Working from the holster is a no go. Transitions is a no go. Dynamic movement is a no go. The only thing this range is good for is a quick 0 on your weapons system, for both primary optics and backup sights and leaving. They do have everything available for you to use to get a good 0, but then it’s time to pack up and leave. That’s about all I would recommend this range for.

I come here for my outdoor and longer range shooting. It's a nice range, very well managed, and the staff are always helpful.

Give the office a call and ask for the Rangemaster.
I always bring my own. Never tried to buy ammo there so i am not sure that ammo is sold there. You can buy paper targets there for a quarter a piece, i have done that lots of times.
600 yards. Their website gives a pretty good description of the available ranges. Some of their ranges are only open to members once certified to use the range.
You have to get parental/guardian consent signature on the release of liability form.
Range closes at 5pm. There is a pistol caliber anything match tomorrow on July 4th in the morning check the website or the Facebook page Tuesday night Steel
We do not allow 50 BMG on any of our ranges at this time. You can always check our website for any of our updated policies.
Paper targets may be placed at 11, 25, 50, 100 and 200 yards using the supplied target frames.

Don't ask, don't tell.
Maybe you said something about guns it does have a shooting range there
They are open the normal hours from 7am to 5pm. The office where you purchase clay pigeons credits for the card closes earlier at 4pm on the weekdays and 3 on the weekends.
Don't be a troll Brad. You can shoot steel case, and core at Rio Salado. Although not a rule, generally most outdoor ranges allow steel case & core ammo.
They are open on Sunday 7am-5pm
Contact Dee at the office. She will be able to help you.
Call the office and ask for one of the range officers. They will help you.
They have steel targets at 200 yards
Yes u can go to their website it'll give u all the info u need
No I don't. Rio Salado is a sporting club open to the public. Any range officer up there will explain and answer any questions you have .
They have target stands, what you should bring is decent reactive paper targets. They sell plain old paper targets for a quarter a piece.
Yupp. There really aren't many restrictions outside of lane assignment for muzzle brakes and 50cal also no shooting the steel with 50bmg.
No, also Arizona is a right to carry state. You do not need a permit if you're legally allowed to possess a firearm
Yes
Yes, at the main range only. If you are coming out to watch a match or watch any clay shooting, no.
There are multiple classes for different skill levels, different types of firearms, depending on what you want. The best thing is to come out and talk to the people out there. Whether it is competitive pistol, shotgun, rifle they will help. There is also a women's group called Herhandgun that is women teaching women.
