The happy place for smaller doggies is adjacent to the bigger doggy play/romp area. (seperated by another gate) The park has always been a safe "getaway" for my Big Dog, Sammy! If you have 1 big doggy & 1 smaller doggy...you can take your littler one to his/hers gated atea or put your tinier pup in with the big pooches! I never worry about my BIG BOY! He loves running & playing w/o his leash--up & down the hills..and making friends! Great fun & safe. Many large water buckets are placed throughout the parks.FYI- if you bring your doggy treats..YOU will make a lot of Doggy friends!!
I believe it does, every time I go I use the large dog section, but there is a gate to the left that leads to a smaller section. I dont have a small dog so I never bothered to see if it opens or not. It also has a bunch of buckets of water through out the large dog area and plastic chairs so you just need yourself, your dog, and their leash. Also, I have seen a lot of little dogs on the big side so there's that as well.
They have a main area for all dogs and a smaller area for "timid" dogs. All size dogs are welcome in both areas. Just depends on your dog's personality.
