How did you all find out that H E B gives a military discount? I was in the Pearland store on Superbowl Sunday 2.13.2022 and tried to get a military discount. Neither the cashier nor the team leader(?) Giselle was aware of H. E. B. giving a military discount. I explained to her that there are posts on this site about the discount. She tried to confirm with her superiors, but couldn't because he wasn't in the office. Consequently, she gave me $3.00 off of a $60.00 grocery bill in an attempt to compensate in some small way since I had gotten the information from this site. But truthfully, it did not seem to be common knowledge that a military discount is being given at that store. So either the military discount is just a rumor or the discount is being given only to certain people!

I'm glad you asked this question because I wasn't aware HEB offered a Military discount.
