It can go either way. I've seen people in dress clothes as well as beach attire at the same times. I was in shorts and t shirt last time I was there. Enjoy!I've been going to Gaidos for 40+ years. Definitely white tablecloth, but they know they are on the beach. I don't dress up for lunch, but I would for dinner. If I'm there for lunch, I'm coming off the beach. I clean up and am presentable, but not formal. The staff are not judgemental either way.
Yes it is casual but I would go on the nicer side of casual.
You can dress casually; the restaurant is in a "tourist" area. However, given the level of decor in the restaurant, you may want to shoot for the higher end of casual.
While I usually feel like dressing up a bit when going due to the rarity of my visits it is perfectly fine to dress casually when visiting. In fact I often go after working Dickens on the Strand and have spent all weekend in Victorian garb so wearing jeans and a t-shirt is a must after that.
It is a beach town so casual is certainly acceptable; however, it is a white tablecloth restaurant, so we do not wear shorts...just our personal preference to dress for dinner & cocktails.
Dress how you want to but we usually step it up a bit when we go. It's a nice place.
I have seen tuxedos and wet bikinis at the same time. Go and enjoy.
Casual dress since its on the beach
Yes
Yes, no problem. You can dress up too if you like.
Dresses oughtta stay on women. I do Not embrace Prezdint Obama's "New Normal." Should You?
Casual even though they'll welcome you if you'd just got out the seashore
