Why is there only a policy about uniformed military receiving a discount and not medically retired veterans with a legal ID or anything along those lines?

This question I'm sorry I can't help with an answer. I do know the discount is for active military only. I would contact the manger from where you decide to go and ask about the military and veterans discounts before ordering. All the managers are very helpful.

I get that but it just doest make sense because it discounts other members of the military who served honorably.

They may have a policy geared towards active military personnel, you may have to check there policy word for word.
