Hello fellow Texans, I'm considering these folks and making the drive to Ohio for an XLR Toy hauler. How do they deal with service or warranty if needed. Thank you, Billy

I hope you didn't do it! We are in Texas and have to take the camper back to Ohio to have it repaired!

Rv nation will get you in contact with someone who can get the repairs done for you in your state!

I bought a North Trail from them last February. I was told by the sales guy that they would find a service center nearby for me to take it to and then they would pay the service center and handle the warranty claim with Heartland. This was completely false in practice. They told me to find a Heartland certified repair shop (dealer, etc) and have them do the repair and get paid by Heartland. I could have lived with that method, despite the fact that they lied, but what you find is that no dealer (and I mean almost no dealer) will do the repairs for you because you didn't buy it from them and also because they dont like Jeff Couch taking their business. The exact words from one dealer were "absolutely not, under no circumstance will we service your rv" when they found out it was from Jeff Couch. Your only option for local warranty work is to find an independent rv service shop that will do warranty work and they are very hard to find. I used RV Masters in Houston.

We drove up from Odessa, Texas. They were great. We did have some issues but none of it was their fault. They jumped right in and took really good care of us quickly and got us going again. Will definitely be purchasing from them again
