What you feed them is the biggest consideration. I fed raw for a long time but you have to buy very specific meats as in no meat that's been factory-farmed. Plus there has to be a wide variety bone-in and it's no where as easy as pouring some kibble in a bowl. The next best option is Pet Wants. It's made here locally in Cincinnati, contains no preservatives or additives, is baked at low heat so the enzymes are still active and so many other benefits, I love them. Check out their website and look for a store close to you or if you have large or multiple dogs, they deliver.
