Vacation time is essentially whenever you want. Through the principle agreement you get paid according to your scale a vacation fund that gets put into a account for you. That income that you get from the vacation fund depending on how much you save of it could account for 1 2 or 3 weeks of pay. During the apprenticeship though I would recommend one week a year but that's my personal opinion because that's what I did. But some contractors don't have an issue with you taking multiple weeks off segmented throughout the year
There is no paid time off or vacation days. You can however, take days off as needed which can be supplemented by a personal vacation account that is based off your hours worked and pay scale.
