How much is it per person to take a tour?
Cost depends on the tour you take. The Signature lake and river tour costs $35. You might get good discounts if you are a student (on Tuesdays i suppose) or a senior citizen. You can easily get tickets over the counter. Winters might affect schedules though.
On weekends and near holidays you will want tickets ahead. Fireworks one is the best. Architect one is great if you like history.
I arrived only a few minutes before the boat left and had no problem getting tickets. This was on a Tuesday though, it may be better to buy ahead of time on weekends.
You need tickets I bought mine about a couple hours ahead of time there's a limit on how many people can get on the boat. I think the cost was $35 I'm pretty sure they have a website
