One of the first things to check is if your vacuum has a belt along with checking the filters. But before just getting rid of it always take it to vacuum shop. I have added 6 more years to the life of vacuum by changing belts, filters just had a tune 2 months ago, vacuum running like new.
They offer vacuum cleaner service in a very professional manner. While doing service of my vacuum cleaner, they cleaned the hoses and filters that were previously clogged with dust. Suppose they find any major issue while servicing, they bring it to the shop for a proper quote. Reach out to them for further details.
