We never waited more than 5 mins to be waited on. Morning and late nights are quick in my experience.
If you check Google it will give you a live traffic of the restaurant. I believe it's not always busy in the mornings.
Around 1 through 6 is when it's really busy but. outside of that it is less crowded
I always go early in the morning (3:00-5:00am) or late at night (11:00pm) never have to wait more than 3 to 5 minutes. There's a Cafe Du Monde in the River Walk. The hours are mall time. Crowds come fast. Lines move fast but it's good to get there when it opens up.
I was there at 8am on a weekday and there was no lines. However, I passed by it on a weekend at around 10am and the line was long.
We went around midnight on a Saturday night and it was not crowded
I have always found that early morning is a great time to walk around the Quarter. After a hard night's drinking, most tourists sleep in a bit. You can grab a leisurely breakfast early. That's particularly important during the summer months where the temperatures are mostly pleasant early (7-8 AM). By 9 am the shops are starting to come alive, people are moving along the streets, and things are starting to heat up. Weekends are worse than weekdays and as the morning progresses, the lines increase. It will stay pretty busy until after the dinner hours when it will drop back off. Even during the busy times you can usually get a table either inside or under the tent.
From the times I've been there, weekends are usually busier but later at night or first thing in the morning are quieter
It wasn't busy the day we got in. That day was really cold and a Tuesday morning.
The weekends are busier from what I've observed.
Nights after 8 or 9 pm that time it's good to be. Anyways it's open 24 hrs.
As early as possible in the morning
I had no issues and went at like 4 and maybe 2 ish?
