The correct way to do that is to get a Drs. Letter stating that she , because of health conditions, can no longer walk out to the street to retrieve their mail. Once that happens thst letter needs to be turned into the post office. Once the customer puts a box on her house, the box on the street will be tied shut and thr person will start getting mail up on thr house. Now if there is someone else living in the house that could go retrieve the mail, the request is usually declined. Also the Post office does not provide the box or attach ot to the house
