Attended a rally in October and the camping was roomy, full hookups with daily trash service, the bathhouse kept clean, lots of beautiful art work to see walking the grounds, the building we used was clean and very accommodating! The office staff was very helpful and had great recommendations!

Becoming way over priced and no signs to tell you where free parking is. Also when you find the parking the traffic is a nightmare unless you go in the morning during the week.

Alas, the wooden spoons have been replaced by environmentally friendly paper spoons...which interestingly also come from trees.
Why are none of the ride's handicap accessible and more handicap accessible parking and the bildeings and bathrooms but otherwise I love the Kansas State Fair and the food and drinks but they could be cheaper

I agree the ratio of handicap spots for parking and more handicap readiness needs to be an upcoming concern to address. It has limited some in my company as well. Love the Fair!!
The buildings open at 8 and the gate at 10. If you go before the gate opens you get in free. Then leave afterwards you get a stamp. That allows you to re-enter free.
I know that the rolls that are famous in this area are made at a restaurant in Yoder called, "Carriage Crossing". I'm not exactly sure that these are the same cinnamon rolls that you are referring too, but they are awesome! ❤️

I'm not entirely sure of the nature of your question, whether being one that's actually seeking an answer or simply a rhetorical question expressing your unhappiness with a particular issue. If the gates closed 1½hr early, perhaps there was a consensus that while the Fair hours extended further, the gates would be closed by that time for the sake of the workers. If your refetence is to the Fair itself, perhaps again the many workers were simply shutting their various privately owned businesses down preparing to leave after an extremely long run of near around-the-clock mayhem. Of course, perhaps, it was simply that the folks in charge had a different time on their watch than you had on yours. The question is a bit vague so an accurate answer will be difficult to ascertain.
It looks like it varies day to day. The official schedule has events starting anywhere from 7am to 9am for the first events, and the last events start at 9pm to 9:30pm

Very good question. We only found a few on the far west side. They used to be at the northwest corner
There is loads of great eats. I would say explore and enjoy fair food. Lots of options what what ever you desire. I have had pronto pups, monkey tails, fried cheese curds, lemonade. Also say various sandwiches, gyros, Chinese style, loads of desert options. Just explore
A ton. Funnel cakes, blooming onions, corn dogs. Pretty much any carnival food you can think of is there. 👍👍 fried cookie dough, fried nutella, fried banana. Etc etc
