You can sleep on the floor for free or pay 60 to sleep on a medal bed. Either way you get a mat. They will give you fake soup 3 times a day. Kick you out at 8am come back at 4:30pm. With proof of work you can come back anytime after 4:30pm. The police are there for weekend. Many different types of felons. Every type of drug user using. It's never quite & everyone is against people trying to do better. Your in for a hell of a fight.
If you dont want to get more worked i would suggest not going here
Thick with thieves and dumbasses. Watch your back and stuff at any shelter in Denver.
The CrossRoads is a shelter for the homeless and those who are just getting a job and awaiting housing.Yes it is not all that safe, but you aren't living there permanently, it's just a transitioning phase. Also the Denver Rescue Mission is a choice,as well as the Samaritan House of which I see as your best choice.
It's starting to warm up, they may have a bed or two open. If you're not used to being around an active drug culture; you're in for a very rude awakening. Keep one eye on your stuff, one eye on everyone else and one eye on you. You can make friends for company, but don't expect too much help from them or the staff.
Yes, Crossroads or Denver Rescue Mission can be helpful.
Crossroads or the mission can help you get basics and a place to sleep & shower
