You can also swim along the shoreline north of the swim beach. The width of the beach is narrow but there are trees and lots of space for everyone to spread out. Not the traditional Lake Michigan beach experience I grew up with but the red clay sand is the softest in the state and water temp as of now was very nice - June 21
Yes and I think $7 per car.
We rent a boat and swim around the boat with our flag up. If you don't want to do that, you can swim at a small beach area. You buy a park day pass. It is around 7.00 I believe.
Yes there is for swimming.
There is a small beach area that allows swimming. Check the county website for Carter lake to check temp. Cost is the Larimer Park pass, either daily or annual. The park pass allows you to use any Larimer county park area including Horsetooth. Horsetooth has a much larger swimming area.
They have a swim area it is around 7 dollars for a day pass to the lake
There is a small public swim beach one...No cost but the cost for the state park...Not The Best Beach. You can also swim Off Your Boat.
