Camped across the street at eagle campground. So peaceful.

Beautiful views just need more selection in the marina store

A little on the rustic side. Needs a bit of modernization.

Beautiful and well kept

You can also swim along the shoreline north of the swim beach. The width of the beach is narrow but there are trees and lots of space for everyone to spread out. Not the traditional Lake Michigan beach experience I grew up with but the red clay sand is the softest in the state and water temp as of now was very nice - June 21
I did not see anything on their website about it before I went. Saw some people fish and crayfish hunt at night. Be best to call the park as some areas may allow it and some may not.
They do not, just pontoon boats (and one fishing boat).
The front entrance of the park has a fresh water fill up and so does the camp ground (Eagle campground) on the North point of lake
Yes, they have potable water and dump stations on the one side by rangers station at the base.
I believe they do! You probably might have to be a local resident!
I think there is.
The answer is no. I had our tent hanging up and the ranger left a note reminding us that "nothing" can be tied to the trees.
Carter Lake IS NOT A CATCH & RELEASE LAKE! 3 walleye per day with a max of 5 in possession. Trout is 5 per day with a max of 8 in possession. The guy who said it's catch & release is wrong & I wouldn't want him as MY guide.
As Thomas stated...yes to both. Any vessel going into most lakes need to be inspected, anymore.
I checked over the weekend, yes
It's usually filled up early. It's best if you can get a space reserved in advance
More than ten
Yes one side of the lake is designated for scuba diving
