Thank you for your question. MSU Recycling does not accept them as compost or in plastics recycling. It depends on the specific compost program, but most do not. It can't go in plastics recycling because it's not of the same material and is a contaiminent.
No. These types of plastics actually contaminate the recycling process. That is their downside.
