The drop-off containers are well marked for the type of materials each collects. The University keeps them clean with little to no odor. It recently had pavement replacement and line stripping

You want to check with your local county.
No, but you can check with the MSU Surplus Store to see if they will take your computer.
I haven't seen a drop-off bin for them. Take them to, or call, the MSU Surplus Store. They might have a repurpose for them.
They do, yes.
The Surplus Store does take clean, reusable clothing, and those clothes help a lot of people in need.
Only when they have special electronic recycling days. The surplus store takes working ones.
Not something they do.
No, it's for household recycling (plastic,.tin, ect)
The recycling dropoff isn't set for large items. The MSU Surplus Store does if the couch is in usable condition.
No
They used to. They aren't doing any battery recycling at this time.
I disassembled our VHS tapes and dropped off as much of the plastic and bits of metal as possible. The tape itself just needs to go in the trash, unfortunately.
Where can I recycle a plastic tricycle
No at recycling. You can call them about contributing things to the Surplus Store.
Dart Container has several locations in the Lansing area where you can drop off foam packing and food containers. The list/map is found at: https://www.dartcontainer.com/environment/foam-recycling-centers/
No
There's a container for that. Rinse out and remove bottle cap first.
H&M takes clothes and recycle them for you! You also get a 15% off coupon for doing so
Books, cardboard, mixed paper, boxboard, metal, glass, newspaper, plastics (divided into milk jugs, #1, bags and plastic film, and all other plastics). No Styrofoam.
They don't take hazardous materials. Paint is usually considered an hazardous material.
No, they don't take electronics. The counties take them once or twice a year for a fee. Lansing Recyling Center also takes them for a fee.
