Craig's answer is good. Also you should know that the BLM LTVA areas around Quartzsite will soon close for the season.

You need a self contained (water/black tanks) rig in order to stay in the Magic Circle. If in a tent you need to be close to the pit toilets that are located outside the circle in the LTVA. The cost to stay in the LTVA is $40/2 weeks or $180/6 months (Sep 15-Apr 15). There are short term BLM areas in Quartzsite that are free, and you can stay for up to 2 weeks.
