We have a solid sofa to donate, but it has some marks on the fabric that wouldn't come out after being cleaned. It could be refurbished or just covered with a sofa cover. Would you accept this?

I have been in this store and seen some pretty rough furniture. If you bring it to them and it's usable then it's sellable. If not then post it on face book or Craigslist in one of the charity/free sites. Rest assured that if it's comfortable just spotted then it will bless someone.

I would call them. Having shopped there they do have less than perfect stuff! One mans junk is another mans treasure!

Hey Kenneth, just so you know these questions aren't usually monitored by stores, just members of the public. I have worked for thrift stores in the past, and the guideline is "gently used". If there's some minor wear and tear on the sofa, they will probably accept it. If the stains are excessive, or beyond surface treating, they will probably not.
