You can take a cooler with food and drinks as far as I could tell. I'm sure non-alcoholic beverages only is the policy. As far as going in and out with a hand stamp I'm not sure how they do that we bought season passes so we have cards. Covid restrictions were not in place when we went but of course use common sense when it comes to washing yours hands and touching things. Other than that try checking their website I'm sure you'll find more answers there.
Yes, you can bring food and beverages into the zoo, we just ask that you don't bring any alcohol, glass containers, or disposable straws. Also, you can leave and re-enter the zoo. We don't have hand stamps, but when you leave just let the ticket-scanner staff know that you'll be coming back in. Our only COVID restriction is the City of Knoxville mandate that everyone twelve or older who is not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 has to wear a mask while inside any of our buildings, including indoor viewing areas, the Zoo Shop, restaurants (except when eating or drinking) as well as restrooms. However, they are optional outdoors. We are operating on the honor system, so our guests are not required to show proof of vaccination.
They sell alcohol.
I'm pretty sure they don't allow people to go out of the zoo then reenter later. But I do think they allow you to bring in your coolers with stuff in them and bring in drinks and stuff like that. But their is no alcohol allowed. And as far as Covid restrictions I really did not notice any. But I did like the fact they had big bottles of hand sanitizer placed all around the zoo.
