No. They close Christmas Day. For some unknown reason, they don't want the public to see the animals opening their gifts. And the meerkats are just too shy to open presents when watched.
No. It is open for business. The hrs/days of operation are on the web site. However, some exhibits maybe closed temporarily. Call to be sure!!!! It's an amazing place.
Knoxville Zoo only closes on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. You can go from 10am to 4:00pm otherwise. (Note, admission after 3pm is prohibited) Plus Boo at the Zoo can get you in for under $10! 10/19-10/22 and 10/26-10/29 5:30-8:00
