Keep in mind that they mark things up to retail. Try buying a single bottle of water for less than a dollar at a typical gas station, convenience store, or even Wal-Mart. There's also more overhead costs in selling singles, between labor, costs of getting the stock, transportation to the point of sale, cooling, etc... It all adds up. Want more fun? Compare the price of a 20 oz pop to the cost of the same 2 liter.
Hi there, in order to best help you, what location are you referring to? Generally speaking, anywhere you go (restaurants/bars, amusement parks, etc.) bottled water is always a charge. Tap water or water from a soda fountain is usually complimentary.
I get that but its never been a charge until today - water was compliment and pop was an extra charge. I just dont know if its a policy change or maybe the new rep doesn't know what shes talking about
