I bought 1x4x8 wood to put up a header over my vertical blinds. I found I needed to notch out where the existing brackets are in order for the placement of the board to fit. i don’t have the equipment to do the notching. Can Home Depot do it?

They charge for specialty cuts. But depending on the type of cuts you need, they can do it
