I am pleasantly surprised by this agency. They’re very understanding very kind and compassionate people working and trying to resolve problems not just collect money immediately. They have heard from me and the agency that sent me to collections and they understand my frustration and try their best to help me and not just trying to make me pay for something that I shouldn’t be paying for.

Heidi was very prompt in getting back to me. My first 2 payments had failed to go through, but we managed to work everything out so it wouldn't reflect poorly on my credit. MLC has been so kind & understanding in helping me pay off my medical balance! I've had some medical bills go to collections locally but never have I had such a pleasant collection experience. It almost makes me sad to pay off my balance because it's rare to find a collection company that also knows how to implement great customer service into their job. As silly as it sounds, if I ever have another medical account go to a collector, I hope it goes to MLC! My first time dealing with them & it's seriously the most painless experience ever! As with anything that you want to make work, COMMUNICATION is key! MLC did a great job communicating with me as long as I communicated back. This is NOT you're typical uncaring collection company.

I have had the unique experience to have Liberty HealthShare as my medical provider. They have been very untimely with paying medical expenses and it has landed me in collections with more than one bill. A very large emergency room bill landed in the hands of Brinley with Mountainland collections. She and I spoke a couple months ago, she gave me multiple options on how to get this bill paid, has followed up when I’ve had questions, and been timely with anything I needed. I then learned that Liberty HealthShare still had not even gotten to this bill when I have it almost paid in full and they suggested I get an itemized bill up all my payments. I called Brinley back, she said sure they would get that sent out to me, which normally what is said and what happens are two different things. Within four days I received the itemized payments in the mail and I am thoroughly impressed with her kind and caring demeanor when she works for a collections company, along with she has been a person of her word and helped me with everything I’ve needed help with. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Brinley with Mountainland and cannot say enough good things

Hi Annabel, give us a call and give us your phone number so we can remove it from our system if it is an error. You can call Loren at 801-642-0899. Thank you and we would love to help!

I don't believe it is ethical to threaten to ruin the credit rating of a disabled person whose identity was stolen while revovering from surgery and is sole caregiver for a 100% disabled spouse over a pittance.

If it has anything to do with military or VA payments check with them first. These guys try to collect on everything even if it isn't really due (ie. been written off, paid agreed share etc.)

Can I find out online the balance owed?

Gloria Alfrey | Oct 26, 2017

Not that I've seen. Beware and make sure you actually owe what they quote you. They tried lumping in an old several year old balance they had from me that was paid off to the initial lender. When I mentioned it to them, they conveniently kept pushing to collect it.
