I now feel I should be seeing an ophthalmologist rather than an optometrist. I do wear glasses. Are eye exams, etc. performed by an ophthalmologist covered under medical insurance? Are glasses?

I've been going to Northwest Eye Physicians. They are a wonderful, caring, group of doctors and staff! They are surely a 10! My insurance co-pay was $40.
