My family and I need to rent a mini van or 3rd row truck to travel from Illinois to South Carolina. I know you need a major credit card to get the type of vehicle I need, which I do not have. But my mother & father in law do. Can they rent for us?

To start out with I work for Enterprise. Your mother and father can rent for you but there will be an extra cost to add you as a driver, but you can rent a mini-van with a debit card, now a large SUV that has 3rd row seating you will need a credit card.

Scott is correct. I used my Debit card, however you must also bring your latest utility bills showing your payment history if using a Debit card.

I believe since you are the driver, the rental must be in your name and you must be the one paying for the rental. I would call your local Enterprise and ask them.
