1 hour minimum for domestic. 2 hour minimum for international. Also if you are checking anything defined as a special item by your airline or the TSA I add one hour per item.
1 hour at the latest for domestic flights and 2 hours for international. If you've got a rental then give yourself an extra 30-45 mins.
If it's your first time flying I would arrive at least 2 hours early but if it's not your first time I will say an hour and a half early before flight time just depending on the process you have to go through and sometimes it do be hang ups and you would have wished you arrived earlier than what you did
