Originally, the Nashville Airport was known as Berry Field.
What does BNA stand for?
As a kid, we used to go to Berry Field to eat Sunday dinner and watch the planes come and go. NA is for Nashville.
The Air National Guard base there still operates under the name "Joint Base Berry Field"
