I sometimes have excess garbage that won't fit inside the can so instead of me putting it out next to the garbage can and getting fined I called to order another trash can which is $50 and was told they're all out for 60 days! What now until then?

I called again this morning I was told again they won't be getting new garbage cans in until 60-90 days..I guess everyone was calling in ordering new cans so they wouldn't get fined for excess garbage left out and they weren't prepared for it because they ran out of garbage cans. I was told to take my excess garbage to the Ridge Rd dump site because you are allowed 4 times a year to dump there but i told her I only have a couple extra bags of garbage it's not worth it for me to use one of my 4 times at the Ridge Rd dump site just to dump a few garbage bags so she said to just hold on to the excess garbage until next week..ridiculous I asked if I can go buy a trash can to use until my new one arrives she said unfortunately not..if they ran out of garbage cans I feel they should allow us to put a few extra garbage bags out if our garbage can is full and not let people get fined since we are trying to correct the problem by buying another garbage can that they don't have in stock!

There not all out at all keep calling and pressing them and tell them you're situation.

You could maybe ask your neighbors if they have extra space for garbage in their trash bins. I know this issue probably has been resolved, but for anyone else going through the same thing, that's my suggestion.
