I agree with the above comments. I'm sure they will respond. Probably busy with other guests.
If they haven't picked up the phone, something had to happen. It's not a 5 star hotel.. but it has the home feel. I don't work for them. But i had a great experience staying a night there. The price is right for what it is and with a great location.. I say if you can just give it some time.. it all be worthwhile.
This is a small place. Understand that they have other duties besides sitting in the office. Sometimes they need to go to the back to do other things.
There are few people that are present in the front office. Occasionally they have to leave the office unattended for a few minutes when understaffed. I've had this issue with them opening the door as well but keep trying.
