We have been looking at Air BNB for a golf trip. All the listings show skiing as if that is all there is to do at Sugar Mtn. Is golf not an activity that can be enjoyed in Sugar Mtn?

Yes, the course at Sugar Mountain is beautiful and challenging. It's an 18 hole executive course with a mixture of short and longer holes in great condition. The greens are fast and hard to read. Highly recommended.
