The duration of a home inspection can vary depending on several factors. The age, size and overall condition of the house are the most significant factors in deciding how much time the home inspection takes. For most of the home inspections we perform, we schedule to allow 3 hours to perform a complete and thorough inspection. Sometimes it takes slightly less, and sometimes it takes even more. The important thing to remember (at Bannon Home Inspections) is that we want you to be satisfied and understand the condition of the house we are inspecting. If you attend the inspection and would like a post-inspection consultation, prior to receiving your report, we’re glad to do that as well regardless of the time it takes!
