I am not sure about the cost of your exact vehicle, however, the SCDMV website has a wealth of information and a phone number where a person actually answers the phone. I am sure between the website and phone number you will have all your questions answered. I have been to the SCDMV recently and I know for most business you have to make an appointment. This is due to Covid 19. So you probably do not want to just show up and be turned away wasting your time. You can schedule your appointment on the website or by phone.
