The main problem I did have today was that the highest response I can leave for yâall is a 5 !!! I would actually rate yâall a 100 or more ! Iâve yet to have a bad experience with yâall ! Keep it up ! Thank you. Teresa Butler.

Regardless of which Rock Hill dentist you see, Dr. Coombs and Dr. Ross are both committed to providing high quality dentistry. They are both willing to discuss how they can help your specific situation. If you have a preference for your doctor, please ask! We are more than happy to accommodate you!
Our office does offer limited types of consultations for free. If youâre having a specific problem and youâd like to talk about it, donât hesitate to call!
We have many methods for treating your TMD disorder or bruxism, also known as chronic teeth grinding and clenching. One of the most common methods is via a clear plastic splint, which is custom-made to fit your teeth and prevent problems associated with teeth clenching.
Our office can manage many types of tooth extractions, including wisdom tooth removal. However, if there is an unusual case, weâll refer you to an oral surgeon for treatment.
Oral surgeons are dentists who have years of training to perform complicated surgical procedures. Keep in mind that oral surgeons do not perform cleanings, fillings, or other restorative procedures. In contrast, our office looks at the âbig pictureâ and helps determine which teeth can be repaired and if there are teeth that cannot be saved. While most cases allow us to perform tooth extractions in the office, sometimes it is better to have an oral surgeon perform treatment.
We have multiple options for treating sleep apnea. If you have sleep apnea or are currently using a CPAP machine and would like to discuss treatment, donât hesitate to ask!
While any dentist can perform a root canal, it doesnât mean they should. Our practice can perform many root canals without referring you to a specialist. However, some cases are better treated by a specialist and we will refer you as needed.
Our focus is to make your teeth look better, feel better and last a long time. As a family dental practice, we understand the importance of treating patients of all ages.
We are happy to meet and provide care for your kids!
Our office absolutely treats periodontal disease! Our hygienists are superb at diagnosing and treating gum issues. However, there are some instances where weâll need to refer you to a gum specialist.
There are actually multiple ways to remove gaps from your smile. While they can be closed using clear orthodontics, we can also place a small filling or veneer to close the gaps.
We sure do! One of our favorite ways is through clear trays which gently move your teeth into a better and healthier position.
There are several treatments you can pursue to make your smile look better! This includes quick and effective teeth whitening, straightening your teeth, or performing a full-blown smile makeover!
Depending on the damage, we can restore your tooth with either a dental filling or dental crown. However, sometimes the best decision is to remove the tooth entirely and replace it with a dental implant or bridge, but this depends on the extent of the damage present.
Our office works with a highly-trained specialist to place your implant. After placement, we can restore single or multiple implants with crowns or other restorations. We make quite the team!
Yes! We are always accepting new patients.
Our office has multiple options to reduce your dental anxiety, including nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral conscious sedation or IV sedation.
We always keep in mind how technology can improve the well-being of our patients. Our office makes use of digital X-rays, laser-assisted cavity detection, magnification, and the most reliable dental quality materials on the market. Not only have we not used amalgam to restore teeth since 1996, but our office uses CEREC technology to create long-lasting restorations in just one appointment!
Since 1993, Drs. Coombs and Ross have been in practice together!
If you do not have dental insurance, our in-house âloyalty clubâ is precisely for you!
Our office works with several third party financing companies. In many cases, these companies offer 0% financing!
While we are not typically open on the weekends, we may be able to set up special arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
Yes, we see patients having dental emergencies during regular office hours. If you regularly visit as a patient, you can visit our on-call doctor during the weekends and holidays. To reach our office answering service, call us at 803-909-4338.
The number of visits you schedule will be determined by your needs. For example, while most people will only need a single cleaning, others may need additional appointments to treat other issues (i.e. gum disease.) Weâll discuss how to most effectively use your time while youâre here.
Your first exam is dedicated entirely to your individual needs. During your visit, weâll perform a thorough examination of your mouth and confirm if any cavities, missing teeth, or gum disease is present. Weâll also discuss the proper steps to take for prevention.
Typically, new patient exams take about an hour to complete. This is because we want to be very thorough and make sure that we discuss all of your personal needs as a patient.
As a family practice, we strive towards using the best technology and materials to enhance your experience while visiting the dentist.
Teeth can be sensitive for a number of reasons, but the most common causes include small cavities or gum recession.
Dental X-rays help us discover tooth decay as well as other issues before they become a dental emergency and require additional treatment. Our office performs X-rays which use significantly less radiation and provide superior detail compared to older methods.
Most people should be scheduling their routine checkup and exam once every six months. This allows us to stay ahead of gum disease and decaying teeth before your issue becomes problematic.
If youâve tried using store-bought solutions to whiten teeth, youâve likely been met with dissatisfaction. Many people have asked our office what treatments we use. Our office can create a custom-made whitening tray and provide whitening gel thatâs applied directly to your teeth. This method safely and effectively whitens teeth. We also offer in-office whitening via Zoom!, which significantly whitens teeth in only one appointment!
There are many ways we can replace your missing teeth! Weâll help you determine the best solution based on your individual needs and budget. While in most cases the best way to replace teeth is with a dental implant, your Rock Hill dentist also offers dental bridges and dentures.
While we are not in-network with any insurance companies, that doesnât mean this wonât benefit you! Since we are not limited to what treatment options we can recommend, we work for you, not the insurance company. However, we encourage you to ask us about specific insurance plans we are in-network with!
Our office is currently located on India Hook Road near the intersection of Ebenezer Road. You can find us in Suite C of the Rock Hill Dental Plaza next to the local convenience store.
