Do maple trees do well in South Texas? I would love to get a red maple tree seeing I'm from the East Coast. Does Rainbow Gardens sell maple trees?

I purchased a red blaze maple from fastgrowingtrees.com and it's done well. Not sure of it's life expectancy, but it grows about a foot a year.

I was told maple trees really don’t do well in south Texas. They can last about 15 yrs, Plus they are super expensive! Good luck
